Sphinx Tribes – Developer Bounties Platform
An open-source Bitcoin bounty platform where developers solve problems and get paid via Lightning.
Problem
Traditional freelance and bounty platforms rely on centralized intermediaries and slow payment systems, limiting transparency, ownership, and global accessibility for developers.
Solution
Sphinx Tribes provides a decentralized bounties platform built on top of the Sphinx ecosystem, enabling developers worldwide to discover tasks, collaborate in public groups, and receive Bitcoin payments via the Lightning Network. The frontend delivers an accessible interface for interacting with this decentralized infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Implemented new frontend features for the bounties platform
- Fixed bugs and improved overall UI stability
- Integrated frontend components with existing backend APIs
- Wrote and maintained Cypress end-to-end tests
- Collaborated with open-source contributors through pull requests and code reviews
- Ensured frontend functionality aligned with project contribution guidelines
